I have just been shown this story by Ben, my friend who was in Congo and came with us on patrol. He is a journalist for the Daily Telegraph in England. If you click on the picture you will be able to read his story of when he was with us.

If, in my entire life, I live just a small part of it with the passion and integrity that you and your fellow rangers have, it will be a great thing.

What a great article. It seems to me that if these great creatures become extinct, it is a very grim sign for human kind. I pray everyday that they can be saved. Thank you rangers for your bravery and undeniable passion and love for these spectacular beings. You are true Wildlife Warriors and the entire world needs to hear of your amazing courage and wonderful example you set. The world should strive to be like you. Thank you so much. Lisa, California

Amazing…I just wish the rebels and people of Africa can find a new means of living without harming these precious animals caught in the middle! I wish they could all be moved somewhere safe….such tough jobs for these rangers……thanks for all you do! Again …you are not appreciated enough!

Dear Elie
Stay safe,
Thank you and your fellow rangers for all your hard work!
Also, thanks to Ben Anderson for writing the article and thus spreading the word.
Newsweek magazine’s article got me to this web site and I hope through their article, many more people will share their new-found awareness and donate money to this incredible organization.
It is my dream to come to Rwanda/Congo/Uganda and get to know the people and to see the magnificent gorillas and the beautiful land.
Who knows, maybe I’ll have the honor of meeting you when I get there, too.
